Point Cloud Audio-Reactive animation, 3D Printed and CNC-milled Sculpture
Part of Melbourne Design Week 2022, a collaboration between the Victorian Government and the NGV, Sounding Grainger is an ambitious project that will require the visitor to reflect on new and different ways of imagining gallery spaces.
Sydney Miller’s composition is a multi-channel soundscape inspired by, and in response to, the physical architecture of the building and video composition. The visual peice is an audio-reactive point cloud animation based off a lidar scan of the building that react’s to Miller’ sound composition.
